I. Different Strokes for Different Folks: No gamer left behind. Games continue to change and not all players like the change or can keep pace with the hardware requirements. No member of [NoClan] will be asked to leave because of a choice in game type/play. This will consist of three categories: Active, Inactive, and Community. Active and Inactive members will wear the [NoClan] tag. Only Active members are allowed to compete in matches. Community members are members that are friends invited to join, family members, or potential members in recruitment process.
II. Maturity vs. Immaturity: No longer will being a jack ass on our TeamSpeak be allowed. If a member is being extremely immature and annoying other members or visitors they will be warned and then banned for 24 hours on the first offence. The second offence will receive banning from TeamSpeak, game servers, and competition for a week. The third offence will get the member ejected from the clan.
Maturity levels will be monitored and all violations will be posted within the member only forums. Maturity levels will be reset every 6 months.
III. It’s your clan, It’s your choice: All clan decisions that affect the clan as a whole will be decided on by a majority vote. Members get only one vote per subject. At no time will there be a veto of a decision by the present leader.
As for decisions affecting only the team, the captain, or team as a whole, will only have a say in those matters. Such as to accept a match or not in a COD ladder would not be voted on by inactive or MOHAA only members. Example: If a member is not competing on a ladder, they will have not voting ability on any decisions that are made strictly for that ladder.
A. Voting Democracy in action, sort of. All votes for new clan members will run for 7 days from the time the vote is started. Votes for all clan positions will last only 48 hours from the time the vote is posted. All members who want to be considered for a position can post their candidacy and any campaign stuff one week from the time the vote will be posted.
B. Follow the Leader We are not sheep. The clan will periodically choose one leader that will be our voice. E.G. in signing up for a league, endorsing a game, and a treasurer to take care of monetary issues, etc...
When there is a need, any position can be added (example: webmaster, pr director, etc...) with a majority vote from the clan members. These ’positions’ are all volunteer positions and at no time will any member taking an active role in the political side of the clan receive any type of perks or compensation for their work.
No member will be able to hold any office within NoClan if they are under the age of 18 or they have NOT had a clean Maturity rating for 6 months minimum with a year preferred. This rule applies to SA and CA’s on NoClan’s TeamSpeak and RCON on the game-servers.
IV. Recruiting A. Recruitment Process Fight for you right. Members to be recruited should first express interest. If a spot on a team needs to be filled candidates who are in-active, but express an interest and show skill in the game will be given first dibs, then community members.
The minimum recruitment age will now be the age of 18 with verification. A scanned drivers license or high level of maturity will be your verification. While in the recruitment stage, the member will wear the tags [NoClan]R_*playername* or [NC]R_*playername*. There is no time limit as to how long a member will wear these tags.
Community members that have been in NoClan for 30days and expressed interest to recruitment will have priority over other Community members. Those who have been in the community for 60days will have priority over the 30dayers, etc...
NoClan is not in competitions solely to win. Winning is only a side effect of good communication, teamwork, and skill. NoClan will not give any recruit 'express' treatment sending them past others who have seniority. Winning is good, but following our rules, and treating each other and the clan with respect takes precedence over winning.
B: Recruit Privileges Recruits will only be able to see the General Members forum and the Match post. They will be able to see all of the forums after the R is removed.
Recruits will not be allowed to vote in any Clan wide votes, however they can express their concerns and wishes within the post. This includes votes on other recruits, amendments to the team code, league decisions, and votes on clan positions.
Recruits are not eligible for any ’special’ teams sponsored by NoClan or its members.
Recruits who show their loyalty, good teamwork, and good sportsmanship may lose their R tag before other recruits. This is a decision by the Head Captain of one division of the clan that the recruit plays for.
V. Sportsmanship Above all, we want to have a good reputation.
Good Game(gg). This is not required but after an excellent win or a tremendous loss all NoClaners should pay respect to the opposition. Despite any comments or actions by members of the other clan, we are here to have fun not to show off our testosterone....or ummm estrogen.
By wearing the [NoClan] tags, you are agreeing to treat each member with the utmost respect both in the game and also in any form of communication (PM’s, forums, e-mails). You are also agreeing to respect the members of other servers. If, at anytime, you are caught harassing, insulting another clan or player, or using a cheat on another server, you will be reprimanded and, depending on the severity of the infraction, removed from the [NoClan] Team.
VI. Multiple Clan Memberships While we would like for our members to only compete with our clan, we do realize that there are a lot of clans out there looking for members as well. So, in the event that a member is eligible for recruitment with [NoClan] but is also in another clan, the following requirements must be met: 1. The other clan must not be competing in any ladder/league that [NoClan] is competing in. and/or 2. The member must be willing to drop their membership with the other clan and play matches only with [NoClan].
VII. Separation of MMORPG and FPS NoClan will now consist of two separate divisions. These divisions will represent NC in the worlds of FPS and MMORPG gaming. The MMORPG division will be named ’Night Crawlers’ and the FPS side will be named ’NoClan’.
Members joining through one division will be considered a recruit if they join the other division up until three months after being declared a full member in the other division.
Members of one division may leave that division in favor of another clan or guild without violating their rights to stay in the second division under article V of the Team Code.
VIII. Changes to the Team Code Due to changing times and circumstances, this team code is subject to change with or without warning.
